Joshua Bovill (6th Grade Administrator)

Mr. Bovill brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for education to his role as Assistant Principal at Dutchman Creek Middle School. Prior to joining Dutchman Creek, he served as Dean of Student Leadership at Old Pointe Elementary and Assistant Principal at Richmond Drive Elementary, where he was recognized as the 2026 BOLD Leadership Network Administrator of the Year. Mr. Bovill is excited to return to the middle school setting, having previously taught Sports Management and Robotics at York Middle School, where he was honored as Teacher of the Year in 2022.

In addition to his work in education, Mr. Bovill is the published author of two books and is deeply committed to serving his community. He and his wife, Charley, a teacher at Castle Heights Middle School, are proud parents of three children: Joshua Jr., Nahla, and Jason.

Mr. Bovill is thrilled to join the Dutchman Creek community and looks forward to empowering students, supporting teachers, and building strong partnerships with families to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
